The Democrat from New York told her truth on Tuesday. Targeted at any station tempted to air President Trump’s upcoming Thursday address. She calls it a platform for lies. Specifically about our elections.
The speech reportedly doubles down on the claim that the 2020 vote was rigged. Trump wants to present this with what he calls “new evidence.” It isn’t real evidence. It’s the same baseless stuff recycled again.
Pablo Manriquez from MeidasTouch gave the lawmaker a briefing. He described the planned broadcast as pure propaganda. A made-for-TV special built on conspiracy theories about fraud.
AOC didn’t mince words. She thinks airing it makes the outlet complicit. Many news shops might just run the transcript. That’s where she draws the line. There is an ethical obligation here. Or should be. Don’t air things that rot the foundation of our voting system unless there’s fact behind them. Obviously the specific contents of the speech matter. But that is her take. Clear and uncompromising.
Trump announced this prime-time event on Monday with zero details. MS NOW dug a bit deeper. They reported the president plans to weaponize newly declassified intel. He wants to say the White House reports now reveal foreign meddling we supposedly didn’t know about.
Nicolle Wallace, host of MS NOW, lost her patience. And why not? She pointed out the sheer audacity of it all. Here is Trump. The guy who was the president of the United States during that election. Pretending the foreign interference was a secret his own government missed.
Wallace called it out for what it is. Another round of lies explaining his loss to Joe Biden. It proves he will twist national security to whatever shape suits him. He undermines our democracy with zero hesitation. It’s blatant.

Reports surfaced about a bigger target next. The Georgia Senate elections. Trump may declare the wins by Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnook illegitimate soon. Using debunked conspiracy theories, of course.
